Participation in the 28th Australian Hickory Shaft Championships in Melbourne, Australia.
Hello Hickory golfers!
The 28th Australian Hickory Shaft Championships were held in Melbourne, Australia from 3-5 May, and a total of 10 players from Japan competed in the championships. The results were a 9th place finish for the Tokuyama-Sakae pair in the team competition, and a 12th place finish for Tokuyama in the individual competition, which was a two-day total (both gross).
The history of the 28th Australian Tournament and the depth of the field was overwhelming.
All participants were inspired by the depth of knowledge, culture and knowledge of the Hickory Club and the wonderful golf course.
A special page on the JHGC website has been prepared for this year’s event. Videos will be uploaded from time to time, so please take a look!

It was an enjoyable expedition, with all the participating members happy. We would also like to use this opportunity to have exchange matches with Australian and NZ hickory organisations in the future. Enjoy!
See you soon!
