Hello Hickory golfers!

Yesterday, the West Japan Monthly Meeting was held at the historic Tarumi Golf Club, the seventh in Japan (fifth among members’ courses), founded in 1920.

The ARE (winner) this time was Brad Wakamatsu!

His shots were better than usual (excluding bunkers) and he said: “I couldn’t get my chopsticks and sticks to work in Australia, but this has lifted my spirits for the World Championship next month! He won the tournament on elevated greens with a brilliant ARE!

Best Gross was Chance Tokuyama, one of the Japanese champions, with 40+41=81. His driver shot was over 270 yards and he played like a pro, easily getting to one on difficult lies!
