Hello Hickory golfers!

It’s been a hot autumn and the second annual Kanto Hickory Monthly Meeting was held last week on the 28th! The location was the prestigious Caledonian Golf Club with a beautiful course. Dress was (casual) HICK style to suit the weather. The winner was Brad, who read the undulating greens and kept making the winning putts. Best Gross was the consistent Scott Nakase!

Brad, Scott and female hickoler Ms Mitsuhashi, who participated in this monthly meeting, will be competing in the World Hickory OPEN in Scotland next week. Even if they made mistakes during the round, they encouraged each other, saying “The peak will be next week”, and it was an enjoyable round.

The following day, on the 29th, Brad and Scott joined Alex and others at the Kawana Hotel Golf Course (Oshima Course), where they also made adjustments. A course that Alex praised as the best in Hickory, with great scenery and strategic features. Again, the winner was Scott. We look forward to seeing his performance in the World Championship!
